West Brom wear Haiti appeal away kit
Championship club West Bromwich Albion recently placed a charity appeal in place of their sponsors logo to raise money for the victims in the Haiti earthquakes.
The Baggies, who have recently employed a system where they change their sponsors logo for every match, placed a white box across the middle of the red shirt with the words “DEC Haiti Appeal, dec.co.uk” in a black typeface.
The DEC (Disaster Emergency Committee) are urgently appealing for support in the wake of the recent earthquake which may have killed up to 200,000 people.
West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace said the club felt it was an opportunity to play a part in helping to raise cash. The 18 shirts worn by the squad will be auctioned off after the match to raise more funds.
