Sweden Home Kit 09/10

Umbro has recently released the new Sweden home kit for the 2009/10 international season. The new kit, which made it’s debut in the March 28th friendly against Portugal, has a strikingly similar design to the new England kit which many describe as being “retro”.

The new shirt is traditionally yellow and has several faint different toned yellow vertical stripes which add more detail to the front of the shirt. Umbro provide a blue logo in the top left of the shirt whilst the national badge takes its place opposite in the top right of the shirt. Both of the sleeves also contain two blue diamonds whilst the bottom of the collar contains a blue patch. The kit is completed with bright blue shorts that contain two little yellow diamonds on both sides. All in all, apart from the colour, this Sweden kit is remarkably similar to the newly released England one.

Sweden will wear this kit throughout the remainder of their World Cup 2010 qualifying campaign. The kit will also make an appearance at the 2010 World Cup if Sweden manages to reach that stage for the third successive time.
