Swansea City unveil new home kit designed to celebrate 100 years
Next season Swansea City are not only looking forward to the challenge of being Wales sole representative in the Premiership for the second season running, but it is also their 100th anniversary and their new home kit celebrates this. The kit retains their traditional all white, but a dash of gold adds to the celebrations. The gold can be seen in the sponsors name and kit makers Adidas logo and iconic three stripes. The club crest has also been redesigned in recognition of the centenary making the kit a collector’s item. The shirt is complemented with white shirts and socks, both of which feature the three stripes in gold.
Despite losing their manager Brendan Rodgers to Liverpool the Swans will still be hoping to build on their success of last season when they won many plaudits for their style of play. The Swansea board have assured the fans that they will be holding on to the players who performed so well last season, and any new manager will have to buy into the passing style of football that won them so many friends.
