Portsmouth unveil new Third kit 09/10

Premier League strugglers Portsmouth has revealed their new third kit that they will be wearing in several matches during the 2009/10 Premiership campaign.

The club had a fairly disappointing 2008/09 season. After an awful start under manager Tony Adams, Paul Hart managed to pull the team clear of the relegation zone. However, a delayed takeover during the summer saw many of Pompey’s star players leave the club. A late flurry of transfer deals on the final day of the transfer window has seen a near brand new squad assembled at Fratton Park. Nevertheless, the club has currently lost their first six Premier League matches and need a quick turnaround.

The new Portsmouth third kit contains a predominately black shirt with numerous thin blue horizontal pinstripes running across the torso. Other details include a black polo neck collar with a blue inside layer, blue patches on both shoulders and three white circles down the sides. Manufacturers Canterbury place their white logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated in the top left. Sponsors “Jobsite” place their large white logo across the centre of the shirt.
