Panathinaikos Home kit 2009/10

Greek side Panathinaikos has revealed their new home kit that they will wear during the upcoming 2009/10 campaign.

The club had a fairly successful 08/09 season which was topped by managing to reach the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League by progressing through a group that contained Inter Milan and Werder Bremen. Domestically, the team finished in a slightly disappointing 3rd place but won the 2nd – 5th play offs ensuring that they were entered into the qualifying rounds of the Champions League for the forthcoming season.

The new Panathinaikos home kit contains a predominately green shirt with little other colour detail apart from the usual logos. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo centrally below the green round neck collar and their three traditional white stripes that run half way down the shoulders. The club badge is situated in the top left of the shirt whilst sponsors “Cosmote” position their large white logo across the centre of the shirt. The kit is completed with green shorts with white Adidas stripes.
