Olympique Lyon home shirt for this season is only slightly different than the one from last season.Novelty is blue piping around the shoulders and a bit different collar.Anyway, shirt still looks good,it is made by Umbro in traditional Lyon's white color.One thing I really like on this new shirt is the sponsor writing.Although it still dominates the shirt it is a lot better than last season.Sponsor is still Novotel,but this time there's no dark blue patch behind the letters which ruins entire shirt.All in all, shirt is classic Lyon and I like it.
Away Olympique Lyon Kit
New campaign also starts with a new away shirt.Last season saw Lyon playing in gold away shirt,while this time they chose the blue one.Shirt is very simple - all blue with black piping around the shoulders and red/blue collar.There is sponsor logo in the center of the chest which pretty much rule the shirt.Overall, shirt doesn't look bad, but if there's no sponsor logo one could assume that it's a training top.
Third
For the 2008/09 season Umbro made a new third shirt for the seven-times reigning French league champions.Compared with last season's all black shirt this one is something completely different.Shirt is mainly yellow/lime green and has the same design as the home shirt,which means red and blue stripes running down the left side,blue and red piping around the shoulders,Novotel logo in the center,Umbro logo on the right side and club's crest on the left side of the chest.Overall,shirt is good,even the sponsor logo is greatly put in,but it is almost the same as Barcelona away shirt.
