Official Slovenia 2010 World Cup away kit

European nation Slovenia have revealed their new away kit that they will officially wear at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The team qualified for only their second ever World Cup after finishing second in their six team qualification group before progressing through a two legged play off against Russia. The Slovenians lost all three matches at their previous World Cup appearance in 2002. They will hope to put some points on the board in a relatively kind group containing England, USA and Algeria. Although England are the favourites, Slovenia will have no fear in taking on the other two nations considering they disposed of Czech Republic, Poland and Russia on their way to qualifying.

The new Slovenia 2010 away kit contains a predomiantely dark green shirt with a light green round neck collar and light green patches on the edges of the sleeves. The main feature on the body of the shirt is a jagged horizontal light green stripe that runs across the chest. Manufacturers Nike place their light green “tick” logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the national badge is situated in the top left.
