New Wolfsburg 2010/11 home and away kits

German club VFL Wolfsburg have revealed their new home and away kits that they will wear throughout the 2010/11 Bundesliga campaign.

The team had a relatively disappointing 09/10 season considering they won the Bundesliga the year prior. They could only finish 3rd in their debut Champions League group meaning that they dropped into the Europa League. A 6-3 aggregate victory over Villarreal led them into the next round where they beat Rubin Kazin 3-2 overall. However, they lost 3-1 on aggregate to Fulham in the quarter finals. In the Bundesliga, the team performed disappointingly to finish 8th. Former England manager Steve McClaren will take charge of the club during the 2010/11 season.

The new Wolfsburg 2010/11 home kit contains a predominately white shirt with a green upper torso and green sleeves. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the three traditional white stripes run down the shoulders. The club badge is situated in the top left and sponsors “Volkswagon” position their blue and white circular logo across the middle of the shirt.
