New FC Porto 10/11 home and away kits

Portuguese club FC Porto have revealed their new home and away kit that they will wear throughout the majority of their 2010/11 domestic and European campaigns.

The team had a relatively disappointing domestic season during 2009/10 that saw them finish in only 3rd place behind Benfica and Braga. This means that the club will only compete in the Europa League throughout 2010/11. Elsewhere, the club managed to reach the last 16 of the Champions League where they were defeated heavily by Arsenal. However, they were more successful in the two domestic Portuguese cups which they both won.

The new FC Porto 2010/11 home kit contains a shirt with various jagged blue and white vertical stripes that run throughout the body and sleeves. Manufacturers Nike place their orange “tick” logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated opposite in the top left. Sponsors “tnm” position their white worded logo inside a large light blue rectangle across the middle of the shirt. Other details include a large blue round neck collar and orange sleeve edges.

The new FC Porto 2010/11 away kit contains a predominately yellow shirt with numerous thin jagged vertical blue stripes running down the body. Manufacturers Nike place their navy blue “tick” logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated opposite in the top left. Sponsors “meo” position their white worded logo inside a large black rectangle across the centre of the shirt. Other details on the design include a navy blue round neck collar and navy blue sleeve edges.
