New England Revolution will kick off their 08/09 campaign with an improved home strip. The 07/08 strip looked far too messy and cramped with the three colours of the American flag. However, whilst the navy blue remains as the base colour, the red and white has been toned down a lot making the new shirt look a lot more stylish. The "Revolution" on the front looks very modern and the club badge replicating the American flag really gels with the shirt. Overall, a brilliant shirt from Adidas and one of the best I have seen this year.
Away New England Revolution Kit
New England Revolution also kicks off the new season with a different away strip. The 07/08 effort was basically a colour reversal of the home shirt with white as the base colour. Although white remains the base colour in the new kit there is no sign of the red and blue which usually graces these shirts. Instead the patterns and Adidas stripes are filled with black with the only red and blue appearing inside the club badge. On the whole, this isn't a bad shirt but lacks the traditional values that would be expected from the New England Revolution fans.
