New Denmark 2010 World Cup kit

The Denmark national team has revealed their new 2010 World Cup kit that they will be wearing throughout the tournament in South Africa next June.

The team were drawn into a tricky looking group with Portugal and rivals Sweden guaranteed to provide tough opposition. However, early slip ups from these two teams allowed the Danes to establish themselves at the top of the group. They never looked back and a 1-0 victory against Sweden eventually earned them a place in South Africa as group winners. Manager Martin Olsen will look to take the team further than the 2nd round where they lost to England in 2002.

The new Denmark 2010 World Cup kit contains a predominately red shirt with a unique white pattern across the centre which has numerous small thin horizontal white pinstripes. Manufacturers Adidas place their white logo centrally below the red and white polo neck collar whilst the three white traditional stripes run down the shoulders. The national badge is positioned in the top left and a large white squad number is present in the top right of the shirt.
