New Arsenal 3rd kit 2009/10

Premier League club Arsenal FC has revealed a new 3rd kit for the upcoming 2009/10 Premiership campaign.

The club what many would consider to be a disappointing 2008/09 season with only a 4th placed finish a two cup semi finals to show for their efforts. In fact, Arsenal will count themselves fortunate to have finished in the final Champions League spot after Aston Villa were comfortably in 4th place going into the new year. However, Arsenal pegged back the deficit as Villa began a terrible run allowing the Gunners to claim the final spot.

The new Arsenal 3rd kit contains a predominately white shirt with thin vertical grey pinstripes running throughout torso and sleeves. The collar is a white polo neck with a grey trim whilst the edges of the sleeves contain an all white base. Manufacturers Nike place their grey “tick” logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the red club badge is situated in the top left. Sponsors “FlyEmirates” run a large grey logo across the centre of the shirt. The kit is completed with navy blue shorts and white socks.
