New 2010/12 Austria home kit
Euro 2008 co hosts Austria has revealed their new home kit that they will wear during any home friendlies or Euro 2012 qualification matches for the upcoming future.
The team comfortably missed out on qualifying for the 2010 World Cup although they performed admirably in several matches. A strong home record saw them pick up 12 points from 15 with victories over Lithuania, Faroe Islands, Romania and most notably France. However, a poor away record saw them only pick up two points from 15 after only managing draws against Faroe Islands and Romania.

The new 2010/12 Austria home kit contains a predominately red shirt with black piping around the underarms. There are also white areas on the edge of the sleeves and on the front of the V neck collar. Manufacturers Puma place their white “cat” logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the Austrian national badge is situated in the top left. All in all, the shirt is fairly plain due to the common template that is used.
