Home Kit

I am a big fan of the new Marseille home shirt for the 2008/09 season. The torso is predominately white and sponsored by Direct Energie which is different to the away shirt. What I love about this shirt is the club crest in light grey on the top right of the shirt. Also the touches of light blue here and there keep it within the Marseille club colours and fairly similar to the previous season's shirt. On the whole, I think this shirt is wonderful in its simplicity and adds a real nice touch with the club crest.

Away Marseille Kit

Marseille will begin the 2008/09 season with a brand new away kit. The problem is that they should have stuck with the old one. The last shirt was an Adidas sky blue and white vertical stripes combination. However, the manufacturers deserve to be sacked on this occasion as they have come up with a quite revolting dark blue and light blue diamond combination that has a real similarity to a golf sweater. The navy sleeves don't look too bad but the torso is a real let down and I feel sorry for any fan who decides to wear this.

Third

Marseille's 3rd kit for the seasons will be the one that they wear in European competition. I personally like this kit from Adidas. It is predominately gold with black patterns in different places on the shirt. The shirt is sponsored by N9UF in a navy blue colour which also links well with the gold. Once again the simplicity works and whilst it won't be a classic kit, it will definitely go down well with the Marseille fans.
