Lyon reveal future kit partnership with Adidas

Ligue 1 club Olympique Lyon has announced that they will begin a ten year partnership with Adidas at the end of the 2009/10 season. This will end the team’s current association with sportswear brand Umbro.

According to the official club website, the deal is set to benefit the club from a flat rate as well as other royalties on sale of products bearing the brand of Olympique Lyon as well as Adidas. Adidas will also increase their payment if the club’s results in the domestic or European competitions improve.
