Japan away kit 2010 World Cup

Asian nation Japan have revealed their new away kit that they will be wearing in the event of a colour clash at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

The team had a very comfortable qualification campaign which saw them progress in 2nd place just below Australia and narrowly above rivals South Korea. However, the Japanese were drawn in a very tough World Cup group along with the Netherlands, Denmark and Cameroon. Due to the fact that Japan have never won a World Cup match outside of Asia, they go into the group as rank outsiders.

The 2010 World Cup Japan away kit contains a predominately white shirt with a red square patch just below the collar and a red patch on the back of the collar. Manufacturers Adidas place their navy blue logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the three traditional navy stripes run down the shoulders. The Japanese flag is situated in the top left whilst the national badge is present just below.
