Doncaster reveal special green kit

Doncaster Rovers has announced that the club will be wearing a special green and white hoops kit in the home clash against Crystal Palace to help in the fight against child cruelty.

The new shirts will contain a NSPCC sponsor logo instead of usual partners Wright Investments, who have given their support to the project. However, only thirty of the special shirts are being produced and each one will be auctioned off after the game.

The day is part of a twelve month campaign where Rovers will attempt to raise as many funds as possible for the NSPCC.

Dave Morris, Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted and proud that the NSPCC have agreed to be our nominated charity and look forward to a long partnership with them. The charity has a wonderful reputation for the work it does with children locally and nationally. I hope we can work together to try to fulfil the NSPCC commitment that cruelty to children must stop.”
