Darlington 10/11 home and away kit vote revealed
We recently brought you news of Darlington giving their supporters the opportunity to choose the club’s new Home and Away kits. The League Two club has recently revealed the winning designs that the team will wear during the 2010/11 campaign.
The team has had a dreadful season in League Two to date after financial problems caused them to have to sell players during the summer. Former manager Colin Todd could not halt the slide and was sacked after only a couple of months of the campaign. Steve Staunton was named as his replacement but has failed to lift the club off the bottom of the table to date. Currently, Darlington only have eight points and are a massive fourteen points away from survival.
HOME

The new Darlington 2010/11 home kit design contains black and white horizontal stripes running across the body of the shirt. However, a thin gold pinstripe runs in a curved pattern from top right towards the bottom left. As a result, the right side of the pinstripe is completely black whilst the striped pattern remains on the left side. The sleeves are mainly black with a small white stripe above whilst the collar is a black and white round neck. Manufacturers Errea place their black logo in the top right of the shirt and the club badge is positioned in the top left. Sponsors “Darlington Building Society” place their black logo inside a white stripe across the middle of the shirt. The kit is completed with black shorts that include white pinstripes.
AWAY

The new Darlington 2010/11 away kit design contains a predominately red shirt with black and white patches on the top of the chest and left of the shirt. Manufacturers Errea place their white logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated centrally below the red and black round neck collar. Sponsors “Darlington Building Society” place their white logo across the middle of the shirt. The kit is completed with red shorts with white details.
