Chesterfield launch final Saltergate season Home kit

League 2 club Chesterfield has revealed a new home kit that represents their final season of playing their home matches at Saltergate during the 2009/10 season.

The club had a disappointing 08/09 campaign as they fell short of the promotion places by quite a margin which cost manager Lee Richardson his job. With Jack Lester and Jamie Ward leading the attack, hopes were high for the club but a dreadful start saw them placed in lower mid table. A good run towards the end of the season saw the team with an outside chance of the play offs but they left too much for themselves to do.

The new Chesterfield home kit contains a predominately blue shirt with white patches around the sleeves and the front of the round neck collar. Manufacturers Bukta place their white logo in the top right of the shirt whilst the club badge is situated in the top left. Sponsors “Vodka Kick” place their large white logo across the centre of the shirt. The kit is completed with white shorts and blue socks.
