Cardiff unveil new sponsor for 09/10

Championship club Cardiff City has revealed a deal worth £250,000 with betting company 777ball.com to sponsor the team’s shirts for the 2009/10 campaign.

The company, based in the Far East, will have their logo situated on the Cardiff City shirt from the match against Newcastle that was played the previous weekend.

A Cardiff City spokesman said: “This sponsorship deal, which includes a bonus structure, far outweighs the deals the club has enjoyed over recent seasons.”

A 777ball.com spokesman said: “The sponsorship of Cardiff City FC represents a milestone for 777ball getting a foothold in the global market. The ambition of Cardiff City matches 777ball’s brand new strategy and we believe the sponsorship deal can lead both parties to success.”
