Home Kit

Brighton and Hove Albion kick off their League 1 campaign with a brand new home kit. Fans will be slightly disappointed that last season's popular kit has been replaced but the new kit also does itself justice. The new shirt keeps with the traditional blue and white vertical stripes actually adding more stripes than on the previous year's kit. There is also a nice white stripe next to the round neck which gives off a collar effect. My only slight criticism would be that the sponsor is too far down on this shirt. Nevertheless, a good shirt replacement for Brighton fans.

Away Brighton and Hove Albion Kit

Brighton also begin the new season with a new away kit. Once again a popular all yellow kit has been replaced but this time I'm not a big fan of the new strip. The torso combines yellow and navy blue vertical stripes with the logo, club badge and sponsor laid out just like the home strip. The sleeves are slightly ruined by the yellow pattern overlapping the navy blue. Personally, I like the idea of the overall design but feel the manufacturers could have chosen better colours to put together.

Third

Brighton have also released a new 3rd choice kit for the 08/09 campaign. The shirt is predominately sky blue with a hint of navy blue around the shoulders. The sponsor, club badge and logo are laid out identically to the home and away shirt. In my opinion, there should be more navy blue on this shirt. The only navy blue on the shoulders give the effect of carrying a rucksack on two shoulders. If there was some navy blue combined on the torso this would look a whole lot better.
