Home Kit

Borussia Monchengladbach make their return to the Bundesliga with a brand new home kit. The shirt is certainly an improvement on the curvy black and white stripe design of last season. The main body of the shirt is predominately white with a vertical black and green stripe on the left side of the torso. Manufacturers Lotto have done a good job in producing a white shirt that doesn't look too plain or overcrowded. A nice job.

Away Borussia Monchengladbach Kit

Monchengladbach are also beginning the 08/09 campaign with an upgraded away kit. The shirt retains the dark green colour it had last season with the only major changes being the black areas at the top and bottom of the shirt. Unfortunately, this shirt does nothing for me and looks extremely dull. There is a big gap between the sponsor and the bottom of the shirt with nothing in it. Therefore this shirt is too plain on the eye and won't be a huge success.

Third

Monchengladbach will also debut a 3rd kit this season. Personally, this is my favourite of the lot. The main colour is a really nice light blue which blends in really well with the white patterns on the shoulders and towards the bottom of the shirt. Black is also used in little doses throughout the shirt which helps make it not too plain and simple. Overall, a fantastic shirt and one which I hope will be the away kit for the 09/10 season.
