Bordeaux unveil 2010/11 kits
French club FC Bordeaux have unveiled their new home, away and third kits that they will wear throughout the 2010/11 Ligue 1 campaign.
After winning the Ligue 1 title in 08/09, the team had a very disappointing 09/10 domestic season which saw them finish in 6th place and miss out on qualifying for European football. Their saving grace was a fine Champions League campaign which saw them reach the quarter finals. The club topped a group including Bayern Munich and Juventus before beating Olympiakos in the 2nd round. An all french tie against Lyon took place in the quarter finals but Bordeaux were defeated 3-2 on aggregate. Jean Tigana will be the club’s new manager for the 10/11 season after Laurent Blanc was named the new France manager.

The new Bordeaux 2010/11 home kit contains a predominately navy blue shirt with a large white V running from each shoulder. Other details include white piping around the underarms and a jagged V neck collar in the colours of the French national flag. Manufacturers Puma place their white “cat” logo in the top right of the shirt whilst two further logos are placed on the edges of the sleeves. The club badge is positioned in the top left and sponsors “kia” situate their red and white logo across the middle of the shirt.
The new Bordeaux 2010/11 away kit contains a predominately gold shirt with a navy blue V running from each shoulder to the centre of the chest. Other details include black piping round the underarms, black sleeve edges and a gold polo neck collar. Manufacturers Puma place their white “cat” logo inside the navy blue V in the top right of the shirt along with two further black logos on the sleeves. The club badge is positioned opposite in the top left and sponsors “Kia” place their large red and white logo directly central in the body.
The new Bordeaux 2010/11 third kit contains a predominately purple shirt with a pink V outlined across the chest running from both shoulders. Other details include pink patches around the underarms and down the sides of the shirt. Manufacturers Puma place their white “cat” logo in the top right of the shirt and on the edges of the sleeves. The club badge is situated in the top left of the shirt whilst there is no sponsor logo placed across the middle of the shirt.
