Home Kit

Birmingham kick off the 2008/09 season in the Championship with a new home kit. Unlike the previous season's distinctive white and blue shirt, Umbro have reverted to an all blue look which looks very much like an Everton kit. Overall, I think this is a lazy effort by Umbro who could have put a lot more imagination in to this kit.

Away Birmingham City Kit

Birmingham also make their return to the Championship sporting a brand new away kit. I'm a real fan of this away kit. It has a real similarity to the Ajax kit and is a nice change from the predictable white and blue shirts that we normally get. The shirt is split into three sections with the middle section red and the outsides sections white. The layout of the Umbro sign, club badge and sponsor in a vertical line also blend in well with the red. Overall, a brilliant away kit and Birmingham fans will be delighted with this new look.
