Home Kit
Atletico Madrid kick off the 2008/09 La Liga season with a slightly altered home shirt. However, these slight alterations have really helped turn it into a very nice home shirt. Thankfully, the manufacturers decided to remove the horrible blue V neck which stood out in a bad way on the old shirt and have instead gone with a slightly thicker red collar. The new shirt also has more red and white vertical stripes than the last meaning the blue Nike tick and club badge overlap the stripes. I'm a big fan of this shirt and am struggling to see how they can better it for the 09/10 season.
Away Atletico Madrid Kit
Just like the home shirt, Atletico Madrid have produced a really nice away shirt for the 08/09 campaign. The whole of the torso and majority of the sleeves are navy blue with a red collar and red strips on the bottom of both sleeves and at the bottom of the shirt. Personally, I was a fan of the previous away kit but Nike has once again managed to outdo themselves with this shirt which will go down a treat with Atletico fans.
