Home Kit

Aston Villa's new home shirt for the 08/09 season is in my opinion an excellent shirt. Nike are the shirts designers and manufacturers, while this year the shirt sponsor is Acorns, a childrens care hospice. The base of the kit is claret, with sky blue arms and a sky blue collar. The shorts are plain white with Nike and the Club badge on either side, and the socks are sky blue with a claret trim.

Away Aston Villa Kit

Aston Villa also have a new away shirt for the forthcoming season, in which it is a similar design to the home one. However, I feel this shirt looks more like a goalkeeping strip, and if I were an Aston Villa fan, I would not be buying it. This strip is mainly sky blue, with black arms and a black collar. This shirt is also made by Nike and is sponsored by Acorns. The shorts and socks are black with a sky blue trim.
