2010/12 Austria home kit

European nation Austria have revealed their new home kit that they will wear throughout the majority of the 2012 European Championship qualifiers.

The national team were thrusted into the spotlight during 2008 as they were the co hosts of the European Championships along with Switzerland. Despite being seen as the tournament whipping boys, the team performed valiantly drawing 1-1 with Poland and losing only 1-0 to Croatia and Germany. Despite this, the team were unable to challenge for qualification to the 2010 World Cup as they finished 3rd behind Serbia and France. Still, they did manage memorable victories over France and Romania during the campaign.

The new Austria 2010/12 home kit contains a predominately white shirt with a black stripe that runs down both sides. A smaller black pinstripe is placed on the edges of the sleeves. Manufacturers Puma place their black “cat” logo centrally below the white V neck collar. Two further black Puma logos are also situated on both shoulders. The national badge is also situated directly below the central “cat” logo.
