2009/10 Sunderland Home Kit

Sunderland supporters got their first opportunity to see their new home kit as SAFC.com revealed images of the 2009/10 shirt. The new kit will be on sale in club stores from 20th May 2009.

The new Sunderland home kit contains the traditional red and white stripes on the shirt that continue and blend into the sleeves. The club crest is located in the top left of the shirt and contains an embossed crest outside of that. Manufacturers Umbro place their logo in the top right of the shirt whilst sponsors Boylesports place their blue logo throughout the centre of the shirt. The kit is completed with black shorts with red piping and black socks with a red and white trim.

All in all, the kit maintains the tradition that lies within the Sunderland home shirt whilst creating some attractive new features such as the embossed crest.
