1899 Hoffenheim home shirt 2009/10

1899 Hoffenheim has revealed images of their new home kit for the upcoming 2009/10 campaign. The Bundesliga club have been the surprise team of the league this year and at one stage were at the top of the league. However, they have recently slowly slipped down to 8th place.

The club were formed in 1899 and spent the majority of their history in the German lower leagues until significant financial backing in the year 2000 saw them start to rise the leagues. In 2007, after climbing four divisions, Hoffenheim managed to gain promotion to the Bundesliga for the first time in their history.

The shirt is the traditional blue that the club usually wear along with two white stripes running down to the centre from the shoulders. Manufacturers Puma place their logo in the top right of the shirt and on both shoulders whilst the club crest sits opposite in the top left. Sponsors “TV Digital” run across the centre in a red box with a yellow and white typeface whilst the club also contains a small “T Mobile” sponsor on the left sleeve.
